Massachusetts residents, it’s time to take action to defend key clean cars regulations.
Automakers are attacking key vehicle regulations, both at the federal and state levels. As a result, the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection recently took steps to delay two key regulations that address emissions from medium- and heavy-duty vehicles. The regulation that addresses emissions from light duty vehicles by increasing electric vehicle (EV) sales, Advanced Clean Cars II (ACCII), still stands. ACCII is the single biggest policy lever the state has at its disposal to meet our climate goals; the latest Clean Energy & Climate Plan calculated we must electrify 900,000 of the vehicles on the road by 2030.
Join this webinar to:
- Learn how ACCII is critical to state’s climate plan and public health;
- Understand how and why it’s under attack at the federal and state level;
- Take action to urge the Healey administration to stand strong in the face of these threats and stay committed to implementing ACCII.
Advocates from Green Energy Consumers, the Natural Resources Defense Council, Union of Concerned Scientists, and Green Latinos will speak and be available for questions, and we’ll take 10 minutes at the end of the webinar for attendees to reach out to the governor together on ACCII.
